When regular glass is shattered, it breaks into sharp pieces of glass that are dangerous to anyone. The polyester films are adhesive coated to bond them to the glass, if the glass then shatters (accidentally, smashed, winds, earthquake) the broken pieces of glass stay together. The film thickness is selected for the level of protection desired and the dimensions of the glass panel. TANIC Inc. supplies and installs various thickness of security film from 4mm to 15mm.
Our films are applied directly on to the glass and offer strong security to your glass door and window against breaking and fracturing. Safety and security films can have components added, such as for solar control, colours, mirror and decorative effects.
